Job Title: Travel RN – Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Utica, NY

Job Type: 13-Week Travel Contract

Job Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Utica, NY. This is a dynamic, high-volume ED environment offering exposure to a wide range of patient populations and cases.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Duration: 04/27/2026 – 07/25/2026
• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• On-Call: Not Required
• Facility: 64-bed Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and treat patients across all age groups (newborn to geriatric)
• Manage critical cases including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Document accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as required
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities (preferred)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience (with some pediatric experience)
• Active New York RN License (required at submission)
• Current certifications:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC
• Travel experience required
• Strong clinical, triage, and critical care skills
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must include RTO (Requested Time Off) at submission
• Valid driver’s license with matching address
