**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related breaches to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
+ Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required for government facilities.
+ Assist with enforcing site-specific rules and regulations to maintain order within the location.
+ Document daily activities, incidents, and any security-related irregularities as required by site procedures.
+ Collaborate with fellow Allied Universal personnel and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
