Presentation Designer (Hybrid)

Location: New York, New YorkJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $30 - 40 per hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented Presentation Designer to join our client's Creative Studio team and available to work hybrid in NY 2-3 days/week. In this role, you will collaborate with Studio Managers, Art Directors, Project Managers, and Retouchers to craft high-impact creative presentations and new business pitches. The ideal candidate possesses a refined design aesthetic, exceptional typography skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Presentation Craft: Collaborate with Art Directors and Designers to create consistent, visually compelling presentation decks using advanced design and typography skills (type layout, copy fitting, and kerning).

Creative Problem Solving: Provide a distinct design point of view and deliver multiple creative solutions based on project briefs.

Visual Asset Creation: Execute various design techniques, including image searches, digital photography, image manipulation, sketching, and hand-mounting for comp work.

Template Design: Develop unique, reusable templates to streamline studio output.

File Governance: Organize and archive all project assets on the studio server according to established guidelines.

Quality Control: Maintain a rigorous level of quality control across all deliverables while effectively prioritizing a high-volume workflow.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design preferred.

Experience: Previous design and production experience is highly desired.

Technical Proficiency:

Working knowledge of presentation software: Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat).

Familiarity with Google Docs for collaborative workflows.

Design Aesthetic: A demonstrated track record of strong layout aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.

Communication: Ability to use industry-standard terminology to accurately convey design concepts and feedback to cross-functional teams.

Professionalism: A proactive attitude with the ability to maintain composure under pressure and solve problems through cross-departmental collaboration.

Flexibility: Availability for occasional evening and weekend work to meet critical deadlines.
