Diesel Mechanic
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to join a leading Company located in Syracuse, NY..
Salary: $62,400 - $72,800
Job Responsibilities:
- Repair & maintain diesel trucks/heavy dutyfleet vehicles
- Work on trash trucks, roll offtrucks, and flatbeds
- Diagnose problems using tools and equipment
- Fix brakes, engines, steering, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine PMs & inspections
- Keep simple service records
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- At least 1 to 2+ years' Diesel mechanic experience on medium or heavy trucks
- Hydraulic system experience required
- Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)
