: Job Title: Human Resource Assistant Reports to: Human Resource Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: CNY Fertility is a renowned fertility center offering advanced treatments like IVF, IUI, and egg freezing. With a patient-centered approach and cutting-edge technology, we support individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. The HR Assistant will help maintain and enhance the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations; assist with recruitment, payroll processing, employment policies and practices, multi state laws and policies and benefits administration Required Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance of I-9 paperwork for all employees.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Recruiting: posting job openings, receiving, and pre-screening candidate resumes, writing interview questions, working with managers on interview process and candidate selection. Bridging all necessary correspondence between managers/ HR department and candidates.
  • Assists with conducting investigations and maintaining investigation records.
  • Conduct or assist in exit interviews.
  • Support termination meetings, document and prepare all necessary correspondence to the terminated employee and benefit providers.
  • Assist the HR Executives with all other personnel matters and projects as assigned.
  • Commits to the philosophy of CNY Fertility and professional growth.

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or related field, required. Experience in HR setting a plus. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environments.
