About the Job: The Financial Strategy and Planning Analyst will work together with Operational Leaders and Senior Management to create tools and reports to analyze data and ultimately provide insights that will help move our company forward. Responsibilities: - Work with Operational Leads and Strategic Finance team members to create tools, standardized reports and establish best practices around financial reporting and analysis
- Craft reports and presentations that are easily understood by the less financially oriented
- Monitor department P&Ls, compare forecasts to actuals, and work with Strategic Finance leads to ensure efficient resource allocation (headcount and financial)
- Provide sound strategic support on all issues relating to cost and financial processes/standards
- Provide a deep analysis on cross-BU financial challenges (data, process, analytical) and align team members around recommendations that lead to the best operational outcomes
- Work with central Finance, Tax and Treasury, Accounting and Purchasing functions to provide support to Operations and Accounting
- Provide decision support for day-to-day operational decisions and macro level project decisions through financial analysis
- Define Key Performance Indicators for the business and own reporting and analysis to track performance
- Conduct data analysis in Tableau (BI Tool), on operational performance
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Workday is strongly preferred
