Part-time Video Editor (Onsite)

Location: New York, New York - Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and ThursdayJob Type: W2 3months Contract, Part-time (20 hours per week)Compensation Range: $50 - 56 per hourCella is seeking a part-time Video Editor for a short-term contract (3 months) for our client, a multinational cosmetics company, in New York City.The Video Editor will join the Global Digital Education team and will help build continuous, personalized, agile, engaging video content that supports the brand strategy, drives business outcomes and elevates the retail employee & customer experience.They will work closely with the Global Education team and subject matter experts to create engaging video content that complements & amplifies the brand's IRL (classroom and in-store) and Digital learning experiences. They will focus primarily on creating content to enhance the makeup artistry, customer service + selling, product knowledge and social media skills of the Artist community. They will leverage & support existing technologies and help to source, evaluate, recommend and implement relevant, engaging new digital learning solutions for our field employees.Responsibilities:Support Director of Digital Education to develop and execute Video Content strategy seasonally. (60%)

Collaborate with Assistant Manager of Artistry + Education and Product Development to determine product samples needs and orchestrate shipment to Creators.

Liaise with the Regions and Artists to commission UGC content by drafting support requests and designing Creator Briefs.

Lead the aggregation of UGC content by directly briefing Creators, tracking timelines and responses, following up when needed, downloading and reviewing footage.

Assist in the planning and production of video shoots lead by Global Education.

Support the editing process by organizing and providing Creative Assets and footage to the editor(s), and participate in the Review phase through final video approval.

Shoot and edit smaller-scale and lofi videos as required for fast-to-market, meetings and presentations, Marketing forecast support.

Assist in management of final video content delivery, including creation of SRT transcripts, sharing of content with the field.

Leverage and provide logistical support to existing learning technologies (Interactive video platform, LMS) - (30%)

Support the digital education team by uploading content to LMS with timely activation of videos on various platforms.

Support the ongoing organization of content on LMS by ensuring proper mapping, translations, promotions toggled on/off.

Help to source, evaluate, recommend and implement new digital solutions to build capabilities for the future.

Collaboration & Teamwork - (10%)

Collaborate closely and productively with the Global Education team, subject matter experts and corporate partners.

Help to apply a design thinking approach to design and development of all learning experiences.

Participate in brainstorms and content creation alignment meetings.

Embrace and adopt a test-and-learn mindset.

Provide support to Education initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Relevant learning & development experience which includes experience in a digital learning environment creating content.

Experience with evaluating and implementing digital learning solutions.

Experience with Learning Management Systems a plus.

Experience with Microsoft technologies including Office 360 Suite (Teams,Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

Experience in InDesign, Illustrator a plus.

Strong understanding of video content creation.

Understanding of principles of adult learning, instructional design and learning analytics.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, problem solving skills.

Strong organizational, writing, editing and verbal communication skills.

Continuous learning mindset and ability to remain abreast of latest trends and insights in digital learning and adult education.
