Customer Quality Technician
The Role - Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Customer Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. Support of quality functions including but not limited to customer support, customer quality documentation review, FAI's, RMA's, & CAR's. The key responsibilities of the Customer Quality Technician include, but are not limited to: Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes Regular communication with customer via phone, email, and occasional on-site visits Customer quality documentation review through PO's Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data RMA product review and disposition Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents Screening/inspecting product on-site at customer facilities when needed Salary: $42,000 - $65,000 Location - Sidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY The Person - The key skills and qualities of a Customer Quality Technician at Amphenol Aerospace Operations: High school diploma required; associates degree preferred Work experience requiring use of problem solving skills, communication skills, and analysis of data needed Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Microsoft Office and Data3 software Bending, sitting, typing, lifting, standing, driving etc. Daily could be up to a total of 4-5 hours total for any one 10%-25% travel in support of customer quality issues The Company - With manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.
