BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is hiring a(n) Vice President, Core Portfolio Management (ref. Code R257469 in New York, NY).Duties: Manage risk and duration exposure for multi-currency fixed income portfolios within risk tolerances in compliance with client and fund guidelines and restrictions. Raise orders to implement portfolio agendas and maintain positioning across book. Monitor and invest cash flows resulting from client subscriptions and redemptions. Research and resolve compliance violations due to both active and passive movement. Work with the team's product specialists to develop client solutions, build model portfolios, and ensure smooth on-boarding processes and account activation for newmandates. Enhance portfolio management processes by contributing to the development and implementation of portfolio construction and reporting tools. Produce reporting required by Product Strategy or client facing teams. Four (4) days in office and one (1) day remote work per week.REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or related field. 36 months of experience in Associate, Fixed Income Product Strategy, or related role. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Fixed Income relative value analysis, performance attribution, and benchmark construction; utilizing programming, data querying, and scripting languages including R, Python, and SQL to handle large datasets; and assessing operational risk issues in changing market environments. Must have experience with: portfolio management, portfolio construction, risk management, compliance and operations, or trading; and advanced Excel including VBA.
