Job Title: RN – Behavioral Health (Adult Inpatient)

Location: Manhattan, NY 10016

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Pay Rate: $2,300 – $2,850 Weekly Gross

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Behavioral Health Adult Inpatient assignment in Manhattan, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong emergency psychiatric experience and the ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced behavioral health emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adults experiencing behavioral health crises

• Perform triage, clinical assessments, and emergency interventions

• Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses per clinical protocols

• Implement and maintain patient safety and de-escalation strategies

• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Support patients and families through education, communication, and crisis management

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations, including HIPAA

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience (required)

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (required)

• Prior experience in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) setting (required)

Education & Licensure

• Active New York State RN License (required)

• Primary Source Verification (required)

• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
