Receptionist

Our client, a diamond wholesaler , is seeking a Receptionist to serve as the front-facing representative of their New York City office. This individual will create a warm and professional first impression for clients and partners, while supporting the team with essential administrative and operational tasks.

Role Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and maintain a polished reception area.
• Manage a high volume, multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately.
• Oversee incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and merchandise shipments.
• Support basic administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and data entry.
• Assist with inventory handling and logging of high-value items.
• Provide general office support and assist with additional day to day operational duties as needed and assigned.

Role Qualifications

• Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role.
• Comfortable handling high call volume in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, or luxury goods is a plus.
• Professional communication skills and polished presentation.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proficient with standard office software and administrative tools.
• Reliable, customer focused, and able to manage shifting priorities.

Salary: $21/hr
