Market Manager - Albany

Our client is currently seeking a Market Manager covering the Albany area.

Global wine and spirit top supplier is hiring! Blend of on/off premise, distributor relationships, "feet on the street" opportunity. He/she will be responsible for delivering volume, distribution, and merchandising performance across the assigned market covering all channels of business, both on and off-premise. Head of Sales one of the best in the business that I've known for 15+ years! Generous bonus and car allowance on top of base salary.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage Company brand portfolio within assigned market

Ensure the planning and implementation of sales programming in all markets

Ensure POS and other marketing assets are utilized in the field with correct programs

Merchandising and building displays

Implement creative programs to activate the consumer, including product sampling and demos

Spend time each month surveying the market to ensure that distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs, menus, and ads are executed to standard

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal, including strong presentation skills

Organizational skills

Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision; ?self-starter?

Willing to be very ?hands-on? to get the job accomplished.

Proficient in Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, and Power Point

Valid driver?s license and ability to drive and travel 4-5 days per week required

Minimum 1-2 years experience in the wine and spirits industry

Travel within territory to actively engage accounts

Excellent team and continuous growing portfolio in wine and spirits!
