Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) in Utica, New York, United States. 13-week assignment starting 06/22/2026. Weekly pay range $2,153–$2,257 per week with guaranteed hours of 36. Shift pattern is 2x3 days. Work setting is a hospital ICU unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based patient care in the ICU for neuro/med, CTICU, and trauma ICU populations, including critical assessments and continuous monitoring.
- Manage complex therapies and devices, including CRRT and Prismaflex, under physician orders; adjust care as patient status evolves.
- Monitor invasive lines, hemodynamics, ventilatory support, and other critical interventions; administer medications and therapies per protocol; respond to emergencies per ACLS guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team; participate in rounds and care planning; implement changes to care plans.
- Document care and patient responses accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Float to related units as needed and maintain competency with unit equipment while prioritizing patient safety and infection control.

Requirements
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license; NURSYS license verification showing an ACTIVE NY license and all active RN licenses.
- 2+ years of ICU experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Travel experience required; documented prior travel assignments preferred.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- EPIC EMR experience.
- Valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics.
- RTO (time off) request must be included at time of submission.
