Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Location: New York, NY

Pay Rate: $65.00 – $70.00 per hour

Weekly Hours: 40 – 45 hours

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Timing: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Days: 5 days per week

Duration: 14 weeks (with strong potential for extension or permanent placement)

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join a high-risk outpatient obstetrics clinic. In this role, you will provide specialized maternal care, perform fetal monitoring, and support high-risk pregnancies while working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fetal monitoring and assess maternal and fetal well-being
• Deliver nursing care in a high-risk OB outpatient clinic setting
• Assist with labor and delivery-related procedures as needed
• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Support conscious sedation procedures when required
• Educate patients on prenatal care, procedures, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams for treatment planning
• Provide guidance and precepting support to junior staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
• Experience in high-risk OB or similar clinical settings preferred
