Premium Health is looking for outstanding MFM Sonographer candidates for our Women’s Health practice.

Premium Health’s Women’s Health practice is split into two divisions, OBGYN/MFM and REI. Both the MFM and REI units are on-site, allowing for on-site prenatal diagnosis, and easy scheduling for consultations with MFM and REI physicians. The OBGYN department contains a complete obstetrics and gynecology unit, along with prenatal and gynecological ultrasounds. This position sits in the OBGYN/MFM division, and is made up of a dedicated team of RNs, MAs, Sonographers and an eventual 5 other OBGYN physicians, with about 25% of patients referred by Premium Health REI physicians. Our goal is to make the patient experience to our standards: Compassionate, Agile, Respectful, and Excellent.
Ideal candidates will have both MFM and OBGYN experience, an RDMS certification, and preferably certifications in Nuchal Translucency and Cervical Length certifications.
Time Commitment:
- Monday-Thursday: 9 AM – 5 PM
- Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on pregnant patients.
- Evaluate the size, position, and overall well-being of the fetus.
- Work with patients who have high-risk pregnancies, which may involve complications.
- Use Doppler ultrasound to assess blood flow in the umbilical cord and various maternal and fetal vessels.
- Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, answer their questions, and offer support during the examination.
- Ensure that ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to produce accurate and high-quality images.
- Keep detailed records of their findings and provide reports to healthcare providers.
- Stay up to date with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques is essential for maintaining the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
- Certified RDMS, or OBGYN Sonographer.
- Minimum 3 years of OBGYN and MFM experience.
- Nuchal Translucency Certification preferred• Cervical Length Certification preferred.
Compensation:
- $60-$70 per hour, commensurate with experience.
