Associate Legal Counsel

We are looking for a smart, dynamic, and driven attorney to join us as Associate Legal Counsel. This role will provide support to our global sales, engineering, and product teams on contract, intellectual property, and privacy issues. The Associate Legal Counsel will also work closely with our Finance and HR teams on billing, compliance, and policy issues. This role will report directly to VP, Legal Counsel and have the opportunity to work closely with the leaders of each department and our Executive team.

This is a great opportunity for an attorney eager to expand their in-house legal experience while partnering with business leaders in a fast-growing SaaS company.

Responsibilities:

• Independently draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, customer and vendor contracts) involving software, technology, and data.
• Partner with Sales leadership to accelerate enterprise procurement processes
• Provide clear, plain-spoken legal advice that enables business decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Finance, and HR to proactively identify risks and enable growth.

Qualifications:

• JD required with 4+ years of legal experience, with a preference for those who have worked in the technology/SaaS space
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating enterprise-level SaaS agreements
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Interest in advertising, technology, information security, and/or privacy regulation strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Organized, diligent and detailed oriented, without losing sight of the big picture
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences
• Positive attitude with a desire to collaborate across departments

Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000 - dependent on seniority and applicable experience
