Ceramic & Tea Sales Specialist at our Tribeca store
Tea Dealers is a NYC-based tea company. Focused on sourcing premium teas from small farmers in China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and India, we offer pure, authentic varieties found no where else. Our love for tea has taken us around the globe in search of traditionally crafted teas and exquisite handmade teaware and ceramics for your home.
We are looking for experienced retail sales staff for our Tribeca Store. This is a position for someone who truly cares about handcrafted ceramics, art, and Asian culture. No prior tea experience in tea or ceramics is necessary; we will train you from day one as you learn and develop. A strong background in high-end retail or art is required.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include retail sales and creating a friendly experience for every customer. You will also handle daily shopkeeping duties and assist with online and in-store merchandising.
Qualifications
Must have experience working in luxury retail. Please submit a resume outlining your work history for this role. Must be comfortable communicating in English, stay organized, and be self-motivated.
Availability
Must be able to work at least three times a week, including alternating Saturdays. This position can lead to a full-time role.
Salary
$20/hr or higher based on experience
