Our client, based in Manhattan, is a top-tier boutique residential interior design firm. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and exceptionally organized Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a key role that works closely with the Principal and is involved in every phase of the design process—from initial site survey through final installation.

The ideal candidate will be a sophisticated and experienced professional with strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-end residential projects with confidence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of interior design projects, including concept development, space planning, FF&E specification, and final installation.

• Prepare and execute complete sets of construction documents using AutoCAD.

• Develop millwork designs and detailed drawings.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

• Maintain a high level of organization, meeting multiple project deadlines with precision.

• Support and uphold the firm’s design aesthetic and standard of excellence.

• Work collaboratively while also being capable of independently managing project components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in high-end residential interior design.

• Highly proficient in AutoCAD with proven ability to execute full construction drawing sets.

• Strong millwork design and detailing skills.

• Knowledge of Studio Designer is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
