Automotive Receptionist Cashier Chevrolet
The Cashier is responsible for receiving and processing payments for services rendered. In addition, the Cashier explains the work performed and helps with answering the phones and may be asked to help with booking appointments, conducting follow-up calls, and answering client inquiries in a timely, effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepares deposits and maintains a cash management system
- Greets customers with a friendly, professional attitude, answering any questions and/or directing them to the appropriate person or location
- Receives and processes payments for products and services and closes repair orders
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Customer service or related experience preferred
- Cash handling experience
- Excellent telephone skills
