POSITION DETAILS
You Will:
- Administer assigned customer accounts. Evaluate customer performance requirements, delivery schedules and review estimate of material and labor costs.
- Provides mutually acceptable solutions to customer problems that impact cost or schedule. Negotiates requirements across multiple customers, products, and internal teams.
- Responsible for managing backlog and assuring all system tools are updated daily.
- Investigates and resolves claims or complaints by collecting and analyzing information. Coordinates with relevant functions on technical and/or quality issues; resolves customer complaints covering invoices or billing discrepancies; research account histories to assist in collection activities.
- Approves or authorizes special price quotations and allowances, deductions, and adjustments on a case-by-case basis. Determines the need for amendments or extensions to warranty or agreements. Determines when customer requested changes are out-of-scope.
- Analyzes and proposes changes in methods and/or procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service.
- Acts as point of contact with the customer on assigned accounts. Coordinates customer visits, presentations, and audits. Maintains successful long-term business relationships and contacts with customers.
- Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement).
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing trade publications, and/or participating in professional associations such as the National Contract Management Association (NCMA)
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and aerospace industry regulations. Ensures adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions.
- Interface with customers with the goal of meeting and exceeding customer expectations and being able to respond to their requirements.
- Contracts Administrator administers contracts for products and systems to ensure fulfillment of contractual fiscal and performance obligations.
- Responsible for the direction and oversight of assigned customer accounts.
- Defines and interprets customer requests/requirements, generates quotes/proposals, monitors/drives performance, negotiates pricing and terms, and ensures compliance with contractual requirements.
- Be the point of contact for customers and interact with customers to understand customer requirements, provide updates on product/program status, while working closely with sales account managers and other associates.
- Involved in collaborating with other company disciplines assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
- Represents the customers in meetings (Voice of customer) with other functional areas and responsible for customer satisfaction, maintaining communication, and the overall management of the customer relationship.
- Negotiates, develops, monitors, and administers a variety of contracts and agreements in partnership with other areas of the business.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
You Have:
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Proven track record of success in sales support working with key OEM's and or Tier 2 customers within the aerospace & defense markets.
- Strong customer service skills including the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple sales opportunities.
- Must have strong writing, planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both with customers and internally.
- Must be a team player and have effective communication, interpersonal and team building skills and able to manage multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- Knowledge of and experience of export compliance (ITAR/EAR); industry-specific requirements/standards.
- Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access, and other applicable tools.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others and impact change.
- Participative management style - advocates team concept.
- Well-developed interpersonal Ability to get along well with people of diverse backgrounds, experience, and personalities.
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive - but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Inside Sales/Marketing preferred.
- Min 5 years of progressive inside sales, customer service, and or contracts admin in Aerospace, Defense or related market space.

PAY RANGE: $90K - $110K.
The pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
