Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess business funding applications, analyze financial documents and risk profiles, and make informed decisions on approvals and funding amounts within our MCA programs.

Since a large portion of our clientele are Chinese-speaking business owners, fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is strongly preferred . Training will be provided for candidates with strong analytical abilities and a willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yea

Responsibilities

• Review and assess MCA applications for small businesses
• Analyze bank statements, credit card processing data, and credit reports
• Evaluate risk exposure and determine appropriate funding amounts and structures
• Communicate with ISO and sales to gather missing documentation
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all underwriting decisions
• Collaborate with the funding and sales teams to streamline approval timelines
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• MCA, or financial services preferred
• Familiarity with financial statements, credit analysis, and risk metrics
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and data analysis capability
• Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Need to know Chinese
