Delivery Driver- Purveying (non-CDL)
- Pack and load products onto trucks according to company's specifications
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
- Unload goods as per client specifications
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
- Navigate efficiently between multiple delivery locations
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customers' questions or concerns
- Communicate effectively with the restaurant or food service establishment for any order discrepancies or special instructions
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
- Follow traffic laws and street signs to ensure safe delivery
- Maintain a clean and operational vehicle Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver in the tri-state area
- Valid professional driver's license
- Ability to operate hand truck in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violation
- Prior experience in a food/ retail company is a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Organized, reliable, and demonstrate timelines
- Able to meet physical demands of the position
