The Opportunity
As part of the Financial Markets Business Advisory Generalist team you advise multinational, publicly-traded companies and private firms on complex transactions involving technical accounting, financial reporting, operational policies, processes, and procedures. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain standards while building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You are responsible for performing analyzes, research, and documenting complex and emerging accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting topics.
Responsibilities
- Advise on complex transactions involving technical accounting and financial reporting
- Perform analyzes and research on emerging accounting topics
- Document findings and provide recommendations on regulatory issues
- Mentor and support junior team members in their development
- Build and nurture client relationships
- Maintain standards in deliverables
- Develop a understanding of client business contexts
- Utilize firm methodologies and tools to solve complex problems
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2 years of experience
- Ability and willingness to adhere to credentialing standards of the Financial Instruments, Structured Products and Real Estate, or FSR, team and PwC. This includes the completion of 4 parts of the CPA Exam.
