Working in the home and/or within the community, Com Hab DSPs support individuals to increase independence and enjoy opportunities for community inclusion on their life-long journey to reach their fullest potential.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

DSP's working in the Com Hab program perform a wide variety of tasks that involve both encouraging and guiding persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on individualized custom care of the highest standards. Working in the home and/or within the community, Com Hab DSPs support individuals to increase independence and enjoy opportunities for community inclusion on their life-long journey to reach their fullest potential. Com Hab DSPs help individuals with life skills, social skills, accessing community resources, academics, travel training, food shopping, doctor's appointments, and more.

Venture Together is recruiting for Day, Evening, and Weekend DSP-Com Hab positions. With locations throughout Rockland County, and flexible days and hours, these part time positions can fit into any schedule. Apply now and we'll do the work to find a position that's a great fit for you!

Agency Minimum Requirements

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the agency's insurance company driving standards. Must successfully participate in Orientation and pass all required testing.
