Location: New York, NY & New Jersey, NJ (Hybrid, 3- days Onsite)

Job Summary

An Actimize Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing financial crime prevention solutions using the NICE Actimize platform. This role focuses on building and enhancing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud detection, and trade surveillance systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to mitigate financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and maintain Actimize solutions, including:

• Integrated Fraud Management (IFM)
• Risk Case Manager (RCM)
• ActOne Case Management

Design and implement:

• AML and fraud detection scenarios and business rules
• Alert generation logic, workflows, and case management processes

Perform data mapping and integration:

• Map source system data into the Actimize canonical data model

Build and maintain:

• ETL processes using SQL, PL/SQL, and tools like Informatica
• Custom components and extensions within the Actimize platform

Optimize system performance:

• Tune alert thresholds and detection logic
• Improve performance of Actimize jobs, queries, and batch processes

Collaborate cross-functionally:

• Work closely with business analysts, compliance teams, and stakeholders
• Partner with QA teams for testing, validation, and issue resolution

Support testing activities:

• Conduct unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with NICE Actimize modules (IFM, RCM, ActOne)
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
• Working knowledge of Java for customization and extensions
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica
• Strong data analysis skills with experience handling large datasets
• Good understanding of Actimize architecture and data model

Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) principles
• Familiarity with fraud detection systems and methodologies
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FinCEN, FATF guidelines)
• Understanding of banking transactions such as ACH, Wire, SWIFT, and Cards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in model validation, tuning, and optimization
• Expertise in scenario optimization and alert reduction techniques
• Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts (preferred)
• Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset
