As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Floor Manager to join our leadership team and help guide the front-of-house operation with excellence, efficiency, and warmth.

Role Overview

The Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing nightly service, leading and motivating the front-of-house team, ensuring operational standards are met, and upholding the guest experience that defines Yingtao. This role is highly collaborative with ownership and culinary leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-shift meetings, set the tone for service, and oversee floor execution.

• Support the FOH team with table management, pacing, and guest relations during service.

• Act as a point of contact for guest needs, ensuring every detail of their experience exceeds expectations.

• Assist in training and coaching staff to ensure consistency in service standards.

• Monitor daily operations including reservations, seating plans, and service logistics.

• Work closely with management to identify opportunities for upselling, beverage programming, and guest engagement.

• Uphold compliance with health, safety, and service standards.

• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll reviews, and inventory where needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of floor manager or supervisory experience in a fine-dining or Michelin-recognized environment.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

• Exceptional guest service mindset, with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail.

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with an interest in wine, sake, and cocktails.

• Comfortable handling fast-paced, high-pressure service environments with grace.

• Flexible availability, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
