Job Description
- Advise clients on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
- Support clients in structuring and closing transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and ensure successful deal execution.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and provide insights to clients and team members.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and trust.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admittance to the New York State Bar.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, particularly mergers, acquisitions, and private equity.
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and multitask effectively.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced professional services environment.
