Job Summary:

The Base Area Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the resort’s base area—including groundskeeping, parking, transportation, and snow removal. In addition, the supervisor will provide support to the Building Maintenance team as needed. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of accountability, prioritizes safety and compliance, and fosters a culture of trust and collaboration. This role is critical in building a high-performing team and ensuring effective coordination across departments to maintain operational excellence throughout the resort.

Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Base Area Operations and the Manager of Building
  • Maintenance to support all facets of Base Area and facility maintenance operations.
  • Lead and supervise the Base Area Operations team during both summer and winter seasons.
  • Promote and participate in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training staff.
  • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.
  • Manage departmental budgeting and monitor financial performance.
  • Communicate daily operational plans clearly and adapt to changing priorities or conditions.
  • Oversee summer operations, including groundskeeping, lawn care, weeding, gardening, and
  • parking lot maintenance.
  • Oversee winter operations, including parking, snow removal, and guest/employee
  • transportation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Base Area Operations.

Job Requirements:

  • High School
  • Knowledge of resort area operations and grounds work
  • 1 year experience leading a team
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Microsoft Office, Internet, ability to adapt to changing workplace programs
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Able to operate equipment
  • Leadership aptitude
  • Must be able to work weekends & holidays

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $27.53/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
