Surgical Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Medical Assistant to support our surgeon and clinical team. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on surgical assisting, patient care, and maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon during in-office procedures and minor surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment rooms
- Room patients, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and care instructions
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper stock levels
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Assist with scheduling, charting, and general office support as needed
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent experience preferred
- Prior experience in a surgical or plastic surgery setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality
