We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a Part-Time Optometrist Job in New York, NY. Responsibilities
As the Optometrist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional vision care by:
- Performing comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
- Diagnosing and managing ocular diseases and medical eye conditions.
- Developing personalized treatment plans to improve visual health.
- Providing LASIK and refractive surgery co-management.
- Evaluating and treating patients experiencing dry eye disease, including advanced therapies such as IPL.
- Recommending specialty vision solutions, including Neurolens and myopia management when appropriate.
- Educating patients about eye health, eyewear, contact lenses, and preventive care.
- Maintaining accurate electronic medical records while delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry.
- Active New York Optometry License.
- Two or more years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
- Experience managing ocular disease preferred.
- Interest in refractive surgery co-management, dry eye therapy, and specialty eye care is a plus.
