As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those you serve. You will conduct regular patrols, interact with the public in a professional manner, and respond promptly to incidents, all while upholding our core values of integrity, teamwork, and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential threats, documenting incidents accurately and promptly.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the location by delivering information and support as needed while maintaining access control protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when required, following established procedures.
• Participate in drills and training sessions to maintain readiness for emergency response situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A current law enforcement officer license is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
