Roles and Responsibilities:

• Live the company’s values by displaying our high standard characteristics and behaviors that lead to our collective success as outlined in our Values in Action.
• Accurately follow recipes and procedures for preparing Clams Casino.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately
• Assemble Clams Casino dishes with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the cold room.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, including proper use of protective clothing and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain cold room temperature and conditions to ensure food safety.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any issues with equipment or facilities to the supervisor.
• Participate in regular safety training and drills.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic mathematics
• Must have the sense of responsibility to accomplish tasks without supervision
• Must be able to adapt and react to changing needs and priorities
• Adhere to high standards of sanitation and hygiene
• Work in a refrigerated environment as low as 30 degrees
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Salary:

• $16.00- $17.00/ a hour

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by a Clam Room Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Must be able to stand, walk, twist, stoop, bend, kneel, sit and squat.
• Must be able to use hands to pick, handle, feel, finger; reach with hands and arms, pull and push trays with product, levers and boxes.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
• Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
• Must be able to read and comprehend work related materials, numerical data and diagrams.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 70 pounds using correct lifting techniques.
• Must be able to stand and walk on feet all day, except for scheduled breaks.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment at 38-42F.
