Position Summary
As a Line Cook, you'll prepare and cook menu items according to Mad For Chicken's recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. You'll work closely with the entire team to ensure every guest receives fresh, consistent, and high-quality food.
ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock your station before each shift.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and proper portioning.
• Assist with ingredient prep and station replenishment.
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately and efficiently.

Kitchen Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Properly label, rotate, and store food using FIFO procedures.
• Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks.
• Assist with inventory organization and receiving deliveries as needed.

Teamwork

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Support teammates and contribute to a productive kitchen environment.

QualificationsPreferred Experience

• Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, fry cook, or in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
