Responsibilities and practice

The New York office of Dentons US LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join our sophisticated Chambers-rated Capital Markets practice. Candidates should have 2-5 years of legal experience in structured finance, including experience with purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements and financings. The person hired for this position will be a part of a dedicated team and expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Representing purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors and borrowers, including banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, public companies and private companies in structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements and financing transactions

• Drafting and negotiating primary transaction documents and agreements

• Communicating with clients and transaction counterparties

• Working collaboratively to manage closings

• Supporting the practice as needed

Our highly-regarded team represents virtually every major banking and financial institution involved in the agency and trust aspects of securitization/structured finance.

Pursuant with New York law, the salary range for this position will be $235,000 - $365,000 based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate.
