Strategy & Ops Manager

DESCRIPTION

Nexar is seeking a sharp, analytical, and growth-oriented business leader to join our team as a a Strategy & Ops Manager. In this pivotal role, you will support our mission to revolutionize the future of driving by leveraging data to drive smarter, faster growth strategy and P&L decisions. You will collaborate across marketing, e-commerce, sales, supply-chain, customer support, and product teams, playing a key role in scaling and optimizing the subscription and hardware business for end to end success.

This position applies to all US locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Own the Business
    • Lead the subscriptions and hardware business end-to-end, with full accountability for revenue, margin, and ROI

    • Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and scenario models with Finance

    • Define and drive strategic plans that combine market insights, customer behavior, and business priorities

  2. Execute with Impact
    • Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Product to deliver strong GTM execution

    • Optimize portfolio, pricing, promotions, and channel strategy to fuel sustainable growth

    • Streamline operations through better planning, inventory, and continuous improvement initiatives

  3. Lead with Clarity and Influence
    • Align cross-functional teams around shared goals and a growth mindset

    • Report progress to leadership and board, translating complexity into clear, actionable insights

    • Act as the internal owner and external face of the business line

REQUIREMENTS

Technical skills & qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in CPG, ideally with P&L, brand or general management roles

  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end P&L management for a channel, segment, or business and deliver profit and growth targets

  • Strong financial acumen: planning, budgeting, ROI modeling, cost control

  • Data-driven analytical skills and strategic acumen

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence capabilities

People skills & traits

  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams, including brand/category managers, analysts, marketing, and finance partners, with demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders toward unified business objectives

  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing talent, including setting measurable KPIs, conducting performance feedback, and fostering a team environment with high accountability and results orientation

  • Ability to cultivate a collaborative, growth‑focused culture, grounded in accountability and strong consumer-centric mindset, that motivates teams and drives continuous improvement across the organization
