Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry

Location: Bronx, NY 10467

Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Work Schedule: 3 days/week | 11.5 hours/day | 34.5 hours/week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to deliver high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms, assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in accordance with established clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and assess cardiac telemetry and patient conditions

• Administer medications and perform IV therapy in compliance with protocols

• Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures

• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Provide patient education, emotional support, and discharge instructions as appropriate

• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience

• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience

• At least 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

• At least 2 years of experience with conscious sedation

• ASN or ADN from an accredited nursing program

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (primary source verification required)

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
