Job description:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead expansion efforts in the East Coast region of the U.S. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing partnerships with wholesale distributors, particularly those serving convenience stores and grow shops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with wholesale distributors in the state where the candidate is based;
- Introduce and position the company's products within the distributor network, with a focus on convenience stores and grow shops;
- Represent the company and its brands and products in the U.S. market, communicating its value proposition;
- Attend relevant trade fairs and industry events;
Manage client requests from other U.S. states when applicable;
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of wholesale sales experience, ideally with a background in distributor-based sales to convenience stores or grow shops;
- Proven success introducing new products into the U.S. market and negotiating with wholesale distributors;
Desirable skills:
Prior experience working with tobacco accessories or rolling paper distributors;
This will be a contract-based role (1099), requiring full-time exclusivity for the project.
