• Compensation- $40/hr. - $52/hr.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to support our client's OGS Manhattan Psych Project at Randalls Island, NY projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

• • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
  • Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance
  • Review plans to identify potential violations
  • Document inspections and report any issues
  • Determine the quality of materials being used throughout testing

Skills, Education, and Experience Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management a plus
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in building construction trades
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector including inspection of site/civil is required.
  • OSHA 30 hr.
  • Proficiency with web-based submittal collaboration systems
  • Construction scheduling knowledge to support project team
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
  • Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborate with multiple team members
  • Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site
