Internist Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview: As an Inpatient Nurse Practitioner at an Acute Care Specialty Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. Our hospital is a 150-bed acute care facility located in beautiful Westchester County, New York. It does not have an Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), or Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities and Schedule:

• Schedule: Multiple Shifts Available (Day or Nights). Inquire within with preference.
• Nurse Practitioner's role includes following a service, assisting with admissions/consultations, attending to urgent matters, and providing an on-site presence.
• Average case load typically 15-20 patients per day.

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology, Family, or Acute Care.
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is required upon credentialing.
• Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Inpatient clinical setting (Hospital or Skilled Nursing Facility) is highly required.
• Strong clinical and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive base salary of $144,000+; flexibility on salary based on superior qualifications and experience.
• Productivity Bonus - payable at the conclusion of every 6 month cycle (Estimated $10,000 + per year)
