Vice President of Finance
- Oversee cash management and forecasting across all entities.
- Manage investment of excess funds with financial institutions and firms.
- Analyze the monthly financial performance of each hotel property.
- Review and advise on all annual property budgets.
- Evaluate and negotiate legal documents, including management and franchise agreements.
- Coordinate corporate legal matters in partnership with external counsel.
- Oversee insurance strategy, including renewals, coverage evaluations, and workers’ compensation.
- Approve accounts payables and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Lead corporate tax planning and filing with external accounting partners, including support for individual family members.
- Support financing efforts for acquisitions, re-financing, and development partnerships.
- Partner with the CEO and Chairman on corporate direction, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Oversee 401(k) plans and benefits in collaboration with HR.
- Report to the Board of Directors quarterly.
- Manage annual financial audits and respond to auditor recommendations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with franchisors and banking partners.
- Direct all real estate-related matters including leases and rental property management.
- Oversee government aid applications, IRS and state tax notices, and 1031 exchange coordination.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and related regulations.
- 10+ years of related financial leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Corporate-level experience in the hospitality industry required
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, tax, insurance, and legal contract review
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Compensation $180,000 - $200,000 based on experience plus bonus potential
