Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Locum Tenens Job in Rochester, Michigan

Compensation
- Hourly Pay Rate: $50-$65/hr
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1790-$1840
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract)
- Location: Rochester, MI 48307
- Healthcare Setting: Medical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Float position
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:30pm); every Saturday and Sunday required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025 – End: 12/6/2025)
- Open Positions: 2 Registered Nurse jobs
- Requested Time Off (RTO): Up to 1 week accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Telemetry nursing experience
- At least 1 year of Cerner EMR experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Active Michigan RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate, quality patient care in the PCU
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families
- Communicate critical patient and family information to the healthcare team
- Collaborate to resolve variances from patient goals and ensure effective implementation
- Float between Medical, Telemetry, Progressive Care, and ED hold units as needed
