Accounts Receivable Medicaid Biller

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain overall accuracy and timeliness of all third party billing
- Billing for all Medicaid programs, help resolve Medicaid eligibility issues and other billing issues as needed
- Prepare liability letters as needed
- Keep department heads informed of Medicaid eligibility/expiration
- Follow up on all non-current accounts receivable balances
- Produce, review and distribute a monthly aged A/R analysis; investigate unpaid billings with department heads and contact funding sources
- Process and track food stamps for all Residences
- Coordinate with department heads on any billing matters and assist with budget inquiries
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years’ Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience with OPWDD programs highly preferred
