Partnership Affairs Administrator
- Prepares for and organizes monthly Policy Committee meetings.
- Organizes and implements Bi-annual Partner compensation review process.
- Part of a team that organizes and executes the Annual Partners Retreat.
- Works with Global Managing Partners to schedule and organize monthly Management Meetings.
- Drafts Agenda for weekly Partners meeting.
- Schedules meetings, reserves conference rooms, coordinates video/audio equipment, and orders food. Partnership Affairs Administration
- Prepares ballots for Partner voting matters.
- Organizes Chairmanship and Partnership Election processes.
- Organizes and coordinates Policy Committee Elections.
- Maintains Firm investments database.
- Administers annual updates to Directorship and Officer List.
- Coordinates with HR regarding Partner retirement.
- Acts as liaison between the Partnership and Firm employees and other Dechert departments.
- Assists the Global Managing Partners with other projects and initiatives.
- Maintains Partner records.
- Assists with lateral Partner recruitment process.
- Performs any and all other duties as necessary for the efficient functioning of the Department, Office and Firm.
- Practices and fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
- Ability to travel to various Dechert offices and locations for partner events approximately 10-20% of the time.
- College Degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ years law firm administration experience.
- Knowledge of the Firm's Policies and Procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate work.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to manage workflow and delegate projects as necessary.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
- Ability to think critically and analytically in a pressured environment.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with varying levels of people within the organization.
- Ability to work productively and cooperatively with other employees.
- Ability to read, understand and analyze financial statements.
- Ability to constantly learn new skills as they become necessary.
- Systems Required: iManage, Word, Excel, Carpe Diem, Tableau, Teams, OneNote.
- Vision: ability to see well enough to read materials and computer screen 80% of the time.
- Hearing: ability to hear well enough to talk on the phone 50% of the time.
- Posture: ability to sit for approximately 40% of the time and to stoop up and down 60% of the time.
