Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Lease Administrator at Berik Management. As a Lease Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple properties, including managing budgets, broker communication for new leasing, new lease generation, abstracting, entries, lease renewals, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. This role is primarily located in Manhattan, NY, with flexibility for some remote work over time.
The base salary for this position if filled within New York City is $50,000 to $65,000 based on skills and experience.
- Maintain a strong relationship and regular interaction with Property Owner/Client to ensure that objectives are being met.
- Working with Yardi Property Management Software – entering receipts, issuing checks, preparing budgets, reports, reconciliations
- Perform accounts receivable, including collection of rent, accruals, reconciliations, compliance with lease terms, and preparation of all related documentation.
- Respond to tenant requests and coordinate with Property Management and Building Staff Teams to resolve the issues.
- Monitor and enforce the terms of all lease agreements, the billing and collection of rents and other tenant charges in compliance with leases. Responsibilities include all aspects of lease administration including critical date master scheduling, lease notification and renewal notices.
- Maintain accurate and pertinent information for vendors and tenants.
- Prepare correspondence and memos to tenants and vendors.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external tenants and vendors.
- Coordinate with leasing brokers to quickly turn around vacant space and maximize occupancy and positive cash flow.
- Coordinating with attorneys for Landlord- Tenant matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on residential & commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of market rate, condo, and co-op properties in Manhattan.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency Yardi, Word & Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
