Job Description:

What You’ll Do

• Accounting & Reporting: Own all end-to-end accounting functions across group entities under US GAAP. Manage the close process in partnership with external teams and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Fixed Assets & Capital Projects: Establish best practices for the fixed asset cycle (capitalization, depreciation, disposals) and manage project accounting for construction-in-progress alongside operations and leadership.
• Procure-to-Pay & Controls: Design and enforce Procure-to-Pay workflows, vendor management, and spend controls. Account for complex, milestone-based vendor contracts.
• Audit, Tax & Compliance: Lead end-to-end external audit engagements and ensure full compliance across federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Systems & Process Architecture: Expand ERP deployments (NetSuite or equivalent) and document scalable accounting workflows designed to support new projects and legal entities.
• CFO Partnership: Collaborate directly with the CFO to convert financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Credentials & Background: Active CPA with prior audit experience and a deep mastery of US GAAP. Public company experience is preferred.
• Industry Expertise: Required background in infrastructure or asset-heavy sectors (e.g., data centers, energy, utilities).
• Technical Skills: Strong experience with multi-entity group structures, intercompany accounting, and advanced ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Track Record: Demonstrated experience building a finance function or platform from scratch within an early-stage, fast-scaling environment.
• Mindset: Highly autonomous, comfortable navigating ambiguity, rigorous, and deeply committed to operational accuracy.
