Licensed Practical Nurse

We are pursuing a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team in Monticello, NY. The ideal candidate will have practice working with patients with mental health and alcohol dependency issues, excellent triage expertise, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.



Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

»Conduct triage and assessments for patients with mental health and alcohol dependency issues

»Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

»Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects

»Follow MD orders and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

»Administer Narcan for emergencies

»Provide counseling and support to patients with chemical dependencies

»Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities



Licensed Practical Nurse General Requirements:

»Current New York State LPN license

»Minimum of 2 years of practice in mental health and/or addiction nursing

»Strong triage and assessment expertise

»Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise

» capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

» capability to work 8a-4pm and 3p-11p shifts, at least 3 shifts per week including weekends (every other or one weekend a month)
We offer a competitive income of $35.00 hourly. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing triage, assessments, medication administration, counseling, and support to patients with mental health and alcohol dependency issues. PPE will be provided to ensure your safety and the safety of our patients.
