Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with experience

Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) Hospital is seeking a board certified or eligible URPS candidate to join our clinical and research teams in the Department of Urology. Clinical locations may range from Brooklyn, Lower Manhattan and Upper East Side campuses across New York and can be accommodated to candidate's needs. This individual will join a multidisciplinary team of top ranked clinicians and researchers, in addition to collaborating between subspecialties across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Research support and extensive mentoring are available to the interested candidate. The opportunity can be accommodated to fully clinical individuals.

Description:

• Instrumental role in advancing the Department of Urology's mission of providing personalized, compassionate, high-quality care to patients.

• Partner with the Department Leadership team to develop and streamline the URPS division and patient access initiatives.

• A strong commitment to discovery and innovation.

• The ability to drive innovation through clinical and basic science research initiatives via our robust research program would be available to the candidate according to his/her interests.

• Cultivate leadership skills and development, through various channels and departmental and institutional programs and initiatives.

• Dedicated to educating the next generation of diverse leaders in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery.

• Collaborative team member, passionate about advancing multidisciplinary care including experts in pelvic pain, physical therapy (PT) and colorectal surgery.

• Participate in department mentorship, conferences, resident/fellow education and training.

• Serve a diverse population and build relationships with support staff and faculty.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Medical Degree

• Board certified/board eligible in Urology or Gynecology

• New York State Medical License and DEA

• Excellent communication and bedside manner

• Commitment to creating an inclusive learning and working environment

• Expertise and interest in benign prostatic hyperplasia and stone disease a plus

Salary Range:

• $374,687-$525,045 a year-Full-time

Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full-time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs. The above salary range for New York City based roles represents WCM's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
