CDL-A Local Truck Driver | Home Daily | $76K-$100K | Night Shift
Job Overview:
Local intermodal position hauling containers to and from rail yards and customer locations within a 250-mile radius. Home daily with consistent routes and no-touch freight. No NYC routes.
Pay & Earnings:
- $0.44 – $0.50 CPM
- Average Annual: $76,000 – $100,000
- Approximately 1,800 miles per week
Additional Pay:
- $40 per drop & hook
- $65 live load/unload
- $45 driver assist
- $25 hazmat loads
- $20–$25/hr detention after 1 hour
- $20/hr for delays, yard checks, and training
- $200/day new hire training
- $210/day holiday pay
Schedule:
- Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday
- Start times: 6:00 PM or 9:00 PM
- Approximately 12-hour shifts
Home Time:
- Home daily
Equipment & Freight:
- Day cab tractors
- Intermodal containers (53')
- No-touch freight
- Slip-seat operation
Requirements:
- CDL-A license
- Minimum 6 months of experience required
- Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days (reimbursed)
