Pay Range: $50,000 Per Year
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated professional to support individuals in recovery from substance abuse.
- This full-time position requires working onsite in Astoria, NY, providing personalized support and guidance to clients.
- The role involves assisting clients in maintaining sobriety and accessing community resources, with a schedule of Mon-Fri (1 Rotating Saturday Per Month) 7am-3pm or 11am – 7pm or 3pm -11pm - need to be flexible as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA), must be full CRPA
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care
Qualifications
- Experience in providing support to individuals in recovery from substance abuse
- Ability to share personal recovery experiences constructively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relapse prevention strategies
- Experience in leading support groups
