Associate Director, Client Service + Strategy

Candidates must have pharmaceutical advertising or marketing experience.
Primary Responsibilities
As an Associate Director of Client Service and Strategy , you will support client relationships and contribute to the successful execution of strategic programs. This hybrid role includes account management and active involvement in strategic discussions, in partnership with senior leads.
Your responsibilities will include:
Client Service and Strategic Sensibility
- Act as a key client contact with strong service orientation and emerging strategic instincts.
- Partner with senior leads to interpret business priorities and participate in crafting recommendations.
- Ensure strategic alignment across assigned deliverables and respond to shifts in client direction with clarity and agility.
- Review project materials through a strategic lens, collaborating with Solutions and project leads to maintain continuity across Brand and DSE.
- Contribute to project planning and lifecycle execution.
Internal Team Collaboration and Oversight
- Manage and mentor a small team or group of junior team members.
- Support resource planning and delegation to maintain efficiency and delivery excellence.
- Provide developmental feedback and facilitate learning opportunities for junior team members.
Multi-Indication / Rare Disease Project Support
- Navigate complexities in multi-indication disease states with guidance.
- Assist in aligning team delivery with client expectations and agile processes.
- Contribute to fostering strong, direct lines of communication with clients.
Strategic Alignment
- Business Insight : Understand clients’ businesses and identify ways to add value.
- Brand Objectives : Support strategy development and ensure alignment with brand goals.
- Campaign Execution : Assist in executing integrated campaigns for HCP and patient audiences.
Management and Execution
- Team Support : Contribute to the leadership of cross-functional teams executing launch and brand programs.
- Project Execution : Help manage campaign development across digital and traditional tactics.
- Operations : Support the development of project scopes and ensure tactics are completed on time and on budget.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit : Maintain a solution-oriented, collaborative, and proactive approach.
Team Development
- Coaching and Growth : Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members.

This position offers competitive pay with benefits based on experience and qualifications.
- The salary range for this role is $145,000–$200,000 per year
- The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at Coefficient Health. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at Coefficient Health, and we encourage you to apply if this range falls outside of your expectations.
Desired Skills + Experience
We seek highly motivated individuals with a track record of success who bring curiosity, determination, and creativity to our work. You should have:
- Agency Experience : 6–8+ years in healthcare/pharma advertising or marketing, preferably in an AOR setting.
- Industry Knowledge : Understanding of U.S. healthcare communications, promotional regulations, and brand dynamics.
- Launch & Integrated Marketing Exposure : Experience with launch initiatives and/or patient and HCP marketing campaigns.
- Digital Competency : Familiarity with digital-first tactics, UX/UI principles, and performance measurement.
- Self-Starter and Collaborator : Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Education : A university degree is required; an MBA is a plus but not required.
- Strong Communicator : Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Location & Travel : Must be NYC-based or nearby, available on-site Tuesday to Thursday, and open to travel as needed.
